There is such a beautiful light in those golden hours before sunset; add the vibrant fall colors to that mix and you have one splendid backdrop for photographs. We took this family session up on the mountain a few weeks ago when the colors were in full array. The air was a little chilly but we stayed fairly warm running around with the kiddos. What a great and fun family; don’t you agree?!

Mom was great and let me run with the reins, which always makes for a free-flowing and more spontaneous session. I think the results speak well to that point! Beautiful sunlight. Beautiful family. Beautiful portraits.
