This month’s I Heart Faces photo challenge theme is Orange. Believe it or not I had a hard time choosing between several photos that fit the theme, but I ultimately settled on this favorite. It is a favorite for numerous reasons:

a. It was one of my first paid photo sessions when I first started taking pictures;

b. I adore the subject, as he is one of my best friend’s boys — Love ya Sheri!; and

c. It just encompasses well to me the nature of a young boy. After a session of pictures this boy kept trying to put his hat back on, much to mom’s chagrin. I suggested we take a few of him in his favorite hat, and wouldn’t you know that these are some of the favorites of mom too!
